“I wanna love like Johnny and June,
Rings of fire burnin’ with you, I wanna walk the line,
Walk the line, Till the end of time.
I wanna love, Love ya that much,
Cash it all in, Give it all up,
When you’re gone, I wanna go too,
Like Johnny and June.”

When Hayley contacted me a few months back saying that her and Josh had gotten married, but not had the chance to do couple’s portraits, I was so excited because I knew this was going to be a session that became one of my favorites. I’m sure it’s no secret, for a lot of us photographer’s our favorite part of the wedding day is when we get a few minutes alone with the bride and groom for their romantic portraits. Unfortunately, on a wedding day we don’t necessarily get to have unlimited time to do so or have perfect sunset weather. But, with this session, I was excited to have both!

Immediately, I knew the perfect place for these pictures. My family owns some land that I’ve been dying to shoot at. I just love the juxtaposition of Hayley in her elegant dress with the old trailers, trucks, and cows. I could not be more in love with this session, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop looking at the photos and getting excited all over again. Hayley + Josh, thank you so much for trusting my vision and being as cute as can be. I can’t wait to watch your marriage grow!
