“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strenght, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

Let me start by saying that this may have been the hottest day Florida had seen this year such far, and I still had such a great time photographing this couple’s wedding day! Not only was the couple just amazing, but their reception was at the beautiful Innisbrook, where we were able to get some awesome shots. We started off the day with the shots of the bride getting ready with her two best friends, and can we all agree she is just stunning?!

This is one of my most favorite pictures the day because it so perfectly captures the emotion the bride had of excitement and anticipation. I got this shot while she was waiting on her parents to see her for the first time in her dress!

This couple chose to do a “First Look” before their ceremony at the courthouse. The groom was obviously in awe of his gorgeous bride!

After the sweet ceremony, we headed to Innisbrook to get some formal shots of the couple before the reception began. Now, I’ve lived in Florida my whole life, so I know what hot is, and this day was HOT. But somehow this couple managed to look just amazing! ( I guess being madly in love makes you notice the heat less!) The groom was awesome enough to drive us around to different places so us ladies didn’t have to walk as much and get as sweaty 🙂

One of the best parts of the day was when the couple took part in the German tradition of “Sawing the Log.” For those of you who don’t know what that is (like me before that day!) it is a tradition that symbolizes the first hurdle they will face as a married couple and signifies how with teamwork they can conquer all their future hurdles. Awesome, right?!
